SugarCRM Addresses Software Sales Challenges

SugarCRM CEO John Roberts will be feautred in an August 10 webinar sponsored by Webex and Selling Power. ATG's Online CRM Apps Now Run On WebLogic Server

(January 15, 2002) - Rauline Ochs and BEA had more good news to celebrate this week. BEA's senior vice president of worldwide strategic alliances was able to congratulate herself and her colleagues on the fact that BEA WebLogic Server has become the first third-party application server ever supported by Art Technology Group, Inc. SugarCRM To Offer Paid Support To Users Of Its CRM Software Sugar Sales

SugarCRM announced that it will be offering support services for its free, open source customer relationship management (CRM) software Sugar Sales. The move is designed to take market share away from companies like Best Software and Salesforce.com, who provide – for a fee – their own CRM products. John Roberts, SugarCRM’s CEO, called the company’s open source platform, “the Linux of CRM.” The company is charging $149 per year for the support service.
